We can offer advice, referral to a counsellor, trainer or other qualified person depending on the nature of the problem.
Other Important Information
Student Orientation and Pre-Arrival Information
The College provides the Student Orientation and Pre-Arrival Information documents to assist students with planning their journey to the campus of choice in Queensland. Students who arrive from overseas will be scheduled for an appointment with the Principal or the nearest qualified person of the International College of Queensland to go through a familiarisation process of the rules, regulations and premises of the International College of Queensland prior to the commencement of the Course. Overseas Students are provided access to the Principal at all times for support information and services.
Student Identification (ID) Cards
Students should receive their student ID card within one week after enrolment. The ID card can be used as proof of identity and allows you to access public transport concessions. For security reasons, students must carry their ID cards at all times while on College premises.
Security
Whilst at International College of Queensland, please do not leave your possessions or college materials unattended. We do have security cameras for the general public area of the College however, you are responsible for the security of your personal electronic devices and possessions.
Student Complaints and Appeals
The College welcomes student feedback and suggestions on our services. This is important to us providing best-practice education and training conditions. Students have access to the College’s complaints and appeals process. This allows for a fair and equitable process to be implemented for any complaint against the College in its assessment process, decisions relating to academic or attendance records and any other concern students may have. All complaints are handled in-confidence and are reviewed by the College management.
